2018 Rosé - Santa Barbara County

Our 2018 Rosé is made from 60% Mouvèdre and 40% Grenache, and was co-fermented in stainless steel at cooler temperatures to retain aromatic purity, freshness and balance.  This is a great wine for warm summer days!

Tasting Notes:  Citrus, watermelon and rose petal on the nose. It's more subtle in the mouth than most cuvees made from Rhone grapes (60 percent mourvedre and 40 percent grenache). Almost delicate in the mouth but pleasantly so. Red cherry and raspberry are the primary flavors with hints of darker fruits (black currant) underneath that make for a seriously complex pink wine. Quite vibrant, this is a real thirst-quencher that will allow the food on the table to really shine.  - Dennis Schaefer - Santa Barbara News Press
