2013 Pinot Noir - Cargasacchi Vineyard, Sta. Rita Hills

94 points - Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate

A terrific wine, the 2013 Pinot Noir Cargasacchi Vineyard (aged 20 months in 50% new French oak) has tons of Burgundian-like forest floor, blackberry, raspberry, flowers and spice aromas and flavors that continue to change with time in the glass. Medium-bodied and nicely concentrated, with tons of sweet fruit and charm, it's already hard to resist, yet will keep nicely for a decade.  Drink 2016 - 2026

2014 Pinot Noir - Turner Vineyard, Sta. Rita Hills

92 Points - Antonio Galloni, Vinous

“The 2014 Pinot Noir Turner Vineyard is very pretty and silky.  Aromatic and light on its feet, it is a wine of total finese.  Sweet floral notes, and bright red-toned fruit add complexity.  This is an understated, classy Pinot Noir from SAMsARA"

2013 Syrah - Turner Vineyard, Sta. Rita Hills

94 Points - Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate

This inky colored wine is a classic cool climate California Syrah,  Rich, bold and powerful it has notable depth and exoticness from the 100% whole cluster.  At a recent tasting our winemaker, Matt Brady, described the 2013 Turner Syrah as having a nose that bursts with aromas of pepper, game, smoked bacon, olive tapenade and ripe dark fruit ina  medium to full-bodied wine that is textured and balanced.

2014 Syrah - Turner Vineyard, Sta. Rita Hills

95 Points - EDITOR'S CHOICE - The Wine Enthusiast

"There's extreme, maybe even obscene, amounts of cracked black pepper on the savory nose of this cool-climate expression, which comes from the same 12 rows each vintage. There are also scents of roasted beef, asphalt and a pinch of lavender. The pepper character coats the palate too, diced by lively acidity. This is, perhaps, the most pitch-perfect show of Côte-Rôtie in California to date." - Matt Kettmann, The Wine Enthusiast
