There’s a ton of sweet whole-cluster spice on this bright red. Scents of bergamot and lemon thyme give way to sweet red-berry fruit. Lightly extracted, the wine is almost see-through, yet flavorful, penetrating and luscious. It has the stuff for roast chicken." —P.J.C.
