Magnum - 2020 Grenache - Larner Vineyard, Ballard Canyon
92 points, Hidden Gem - Matt Kettman, Wine Enthusiast
Our very favorite vineyard for Grenache, Larner Vineyard is a unique site with a bedrock of chalk and topsoil of sand. This rare soil type creates incredible texture in Larner fruit year after year. The 2020 is plush and elegant, with incredibly fine-grained tannins and a heavenly mouthfeel. Cherry cordial, sage and notes of violet bring elegance and subtlety to this complex and layered wine. -Lily Hays, Director to Consumer Business Manager

"Super light and transparent in the glass, this would be an excellent choice for brunch. Clean aromas of strawberry and white pepper on the nose drop into a palate that bites immediately with acidity and tannin. Then come plush strawberry and raspberry flavors, with more peppery spices firing up the finish." -Matt Kettmann
